Another review! This time from Joyfully Reviewed. She thinks it a beautiful story
Also, Monster is available at Fresh Fiction now. It’s so cool seeing my book up at different stores.

I now subscribe to the JERR newsletter. In large part because Monster received two reviews, both 4 stars.
I was particularly flattered by this part:
I was a bit skeptical in reading Monster, as I have never read a same sex romance before. After reading it though, I can happily say that Joely Skye has written a hauntingly beautiful tale.
I was also so happy that they both want to read more.
I am so excited! Speculative Romance Online reviewed Monster. My first posted review.
It’s refreshing to see the paranormal element complicating the emotional aspect of the leads’ relationship, instead of just creating an excuse for acrobatic sexual exploits. And the characters work well together. Josh is an alpha male without being a jerk: he’s noble, capable and action-oriented, but also generous, kind and tender. (You know, the kind of hero I wish I could find in a straight romance.) Without his Minder powers, Kir might have been too passive and submissive. But his abilities and his ambivalent feelings about using them for his survival lent him complexity as the tale deepened. His struggles in a world that seems completely hostile and without safety tugged at my heart — and made the barriers between Josh and Kir getting together all the more poignant.
Also Euroreviews gave Monster 5 flags!
This is a very fast-paced exciting novella which will keep the reader turning the pages as quickly as possible. Both Josh and Kir will endear themselves to the reader immediately, and even the “villains” have their human sides. Joely Skye is most definitely a writer to watch, and this reviewer hopes she will be quite a prolific writer.
I am incredibly pleased by the reviewers’ kind and thoughtful words.
I didn’t realize Monster was available anywhere but My Bookstore and More.
But you can get it here at Powell’s and here at Diesel ebooks.
(It’s also listed in the Microsoft Reader Catalogue of eBooks.)
Okay I’ve been meaning to make a rec page for a while and it’s up now. You can see it listed along the top or simply go here.
I have Kushner, Pomfret & Whittier, Brockmann, Blue, Lowachee, and Vaughan. These are slightly older reads as I haven’t been reading much lately but will get back to it, especially now that I’m writing m/m again, and not editing so much.
There is a very long comment full of m/m recs here at Smart Bitches (second from the top with new comments first). Raven mentions Stephanie Vaughan, Ally Blue, Emily Veinglory, Jules Jones, Luisa Prieto, and others. Good reading for those looking for recs.
I seem to be writing a paranormal gay Silhouette Special Edition. With maybe more sex.
I’m sure this is totally marketable.
